Viral Pathogenesis and Persistence of Epstein-Barr Virus (I)
When infection occurs cell begins production of viral proteins. These proteins include early antigen (EA), the capsid (VCA) and membrane glycoproteins (MA).

Viral Pathogenesis and Persistence
The virus is transmitted by infected saliva and reaches the oropharynx epithelial cells where it replicates in production of virions and cell lysis. B cells are infected as they pass through the oropharynx or the epithelium of the postnasal space. The virus uses the cell to contact one of its envelope protein, gp350, which binds to the cellular receptor CD21 (the same that has for the C3d of complement). Read the rest of this entry »
Epstein-Barr Virus
Introduction
The Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) is a human herpes virus type 4, lymphotropic, providing for cells whose latent infection. It has been shown that this virus is mainly responsible for Infect mononucleosis (IM), a disease of adolescence and childhood.
It can also produce certain forms of cancer, including undifferentiated nasopharyngeal carcinoma (CNI), Endemic Burkitt’s Lymphoma (LBE) or B cell lymphomas in patients with acquired or congenital immunodeficiencies and there is great controversy over the role of this virus as a cause of chronic illness, in particular in regard to the Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS).
Like every family is a large virus, encapsulated with a double-stranded DNA. It is about 150 nm.Its capsid is icosahedral with 162 capsomers and all the virus is enveloped by a cover with glycoproteins. Read the rest of this entry »
Dyspepsia – Difficult Digestion (III)

The diagnosis of functional dyspepsia is a diagnosis of exclusion, namely, that we must eliminate other possible causes. Although organic diseases (ulcer, gastritis, gastroesophageal reflux …) that can motivate dyspepsia are many, you could make a reliable diagnosis by a good history and further confirmation by radiological or endoscopic.
The diagnosis, there is the difficulty of arranging a treatment for a condition which causes are unknown. Should be clear that many patients do not need any drug treatment and there is no specific therapy for this disease. This reality is not assumed by many dyspeptic who think “there must be something.” Read the rest of this entry »
Dyspepsia – Difficult Digestion (II)

The causes of functional dyspepsia are not well identified and are thought to be several mechanisms:
Gastrointestinal motility disorders. Believed to be a relevant factor in half of cases of dyspepsia. There is a disorder of peristalsis, or there is a slow gastric emptying.
Impaired gastric secretion.
Psychosomatic disorders. It has shown a relationship between stress and exacerbation of symptoms. It is believed that the increase in catecholamines and endogenous opioids, beta-endorphin, which occurs in situations of stress, strain and stress, inhibits gastrointestinal motility.
It is also envisaged in the Helicobacter pylori bacterium that causes gastric ulcers and gastritis, but although in some dyspeptic was detected this bacterium in their stomach, their eradication has not been a significant improvement in symptoms.
Dyspepsia – Difficult Digestion (I)

Dyspepsia, a term used by Greeks and Romans to refer to a “bad digestion”, identifies a series of aches and pains in the abdominal area similar to indigestion.
There may be an occasional and isolated, but sometimes extended over time, persists, and occurs frequently, although not a serious health problem, it does alter our quality of life, our sense of wellbeing.
From a medical standpoint, the precise definition of its causes represents a major difficulty for a condition that, according to various epidemiological studies, affects about 20% of the population in Western countries, especially after 40 years and with a similar distribution between men and women. Pectoral Exercises

The chest of the body is mainly composed of two muscles, the pectoralis major and pectoralis minor. Pectoralis major is the larger of the two and covers the majority of the breast. The pectoralis minor is located just below the pectoralis major. To increase breast masculinity, we will drive to the pectoral muscles. However, keep in mind that many chest exercises using other muscles such as triceps and shoulders. For best results, a training plan using moderate weights and includes job – training stretching exercises too. To help you plan a pectoral workout, we have identified a number of exercises below.
Pectoral Muscle Exercises
Pushups
Pushups are very beneficial and can be made to build pectoral muscles. They can be done standing against a wall on the floor with knees bent or legs straight. Place your hands a few inches wider than shoulders, either on the floor or wall. Your hands should be up to your chest. Founder Factors Asthma In Children
Asthma is a common disease in children. Incidence of asthma increased in almost all the world, both countries developed and developing countries including Indonesia. This increase was allegedly associated with an increase in the industry that high pollution levels.
Although based on clinical experience and research of asthma is a disease that is often found in children, but the clinical picture of asthma in children vary greatly, even the heavy-light-attack and often lack the attacks change from time to time. As a result of this disorder are not diagnosed or wrong diagnosis sometimes leading to treatment was not strong.
Generally characterized with clinical symptoms of shortness of breath and wheezing (breathing that sounds). Group of children who are reasonably suspected asthma children who showed a cough and / or wheezing that occur in episodic, likely at night / early morning, seasonal, after the event, as well as a history of asthma and atopy in patients and their families.
Is it asthma?
Based on the definition and clinical experience Scadding Godfrey, asthma in children is a disease characterized by wide variations in short periods of time than the resistance of air flow in the pulmonary respiratory tract manifests as recurrent attacks of coughing or wheezing separated by symptom-free intervals.
Change what’s happening on the network?
- Reduction in airway diameter
- Changes in respiratory muscle response
- Disturbances in the autonomic innervation of smooth muscle regulation respiratory
- Epithelial cell damage respiratory mucosa
Trigger factors of asthma in children:
- Emotional factors; emotional disturbances can cause constriction of respiratory tract
- Factors immunological / allergy; now has a lot of evidence that allergy is one of the important factors of asthma development. Atopy is a real risk factor that can cause asthma symptoms.
- Non-allergic factors; viral / bacterial and irritant substances / pollutants.
