Hypnosis

hypnosisHypnosis is a technique, and, unfortunately, the television shows, where it can be a very effective tool for the psychologist.

What is Hypnosis?

Hypnosis is a technique to solve the psychological problems from the root. Returning to the event, or one of the episodes in which the trauma occurred without the patient had a protective response can be achieved by modification of the scene, the subject is made aware of its real cause and not feel the emotion intruder but as negative as their own.

What is hypnosis based on?

Its foundation lies in healing from the beginning, ie handling all the factors that caused the trauma in the right time. You could say that in most psychological disorders do not live in the present, but past is recreated with reactions similar to those that were taken and conceptualizing others as if they were part of the scene.

The funny thing is that we are rarely able to be aware of this and the therapist wraps around the patient in treatment longer than appropriate.

How hypnosis can help us?

Hypnosis is useful for cases of anxiety, obsessions, jealousy, depression, child abuse, severe traumas are not overcome by the patient and addictions such as in the case of snuff and drugs.

Origin and history of hypnosis

His scientific origin appears Mesmer, who was the first to use it in the late eighteenth century. Later, with the discovery of the unconscious and its study by various schools such as Charcot in the nineteenth century, Freud used it, but soon used by other tools as the association of ideas. It was in the twentieth century when science had its true dimension.

Ericsson used it in very different conditions on a fully therapeutic, inside the package and not as an isolated measure. The American Psychological Association accepted therapy in the fifties of last century. Currently the results are controversial, especially in Europe, where cognitive-behavioral influence is dominant.
