Ishihara test is color blind test developed by Drs. Shinobu Ishihara. This test was first published in 1917 in Japan. Since then, these tests continue to be used throughout the world, until now.

Ishihara color blindness test consists of a sheet in which there are points with different colors and sizes. Colored points are arranged to form a circle. Color point was made so that the color blind people will not see the color differences are seen as normal people (pseudo-isochromaticism).

In normal people, in the circle would seem certain numbers or lines. But the color-blind people, who appeared on the circle will be different as seen by normal people.

Ishihara test is usually completed by an answer key for each share. The test results will be compared with one answer key. From here can be determined whether a person is normal or color blindness.

This test is usually done at the time we take care of able-bodied certificate.
